RESUME
Le premier parc national tunisien a été créé en 1977, suivi par six autres durant les années 1980 à 1994. Un huitième est en cours de création. Ces espaces conçus suivant une conception internationale gardent une spécificité tunisienne. Jalousement conservés durant leurs premières années de mise en place, ils ont été ensuite ouverts au public. Ce dernier visite en nombre croissant ces aires protégées, principalement dans un cadre récréatif plutôt que par une réelle motivation de découverte de leurs richesses patrimoniales naturelles et culturelles. Il en résulte une atteinte à ces milieux. Il devient donc d'autant plus important de bien connaître la nature de la fréquentation touristique et récréative de ces sites fragiles.
Les plans d'aménagement et de gestion, en cours de conception, doivent bénéficier de données statistiques, et prévoir la mise en place d'outils nécessaires pour de meilleurs suivis scientifiques des différentes activités réalisées au sein et autour des parcs nationaux tunisiens.
La complexité du cas du parc national de l'Ichkeul peut servir de modèle pour la constitution d'une équipe pluridisciplinaire intégrant les populations locales dans la valorisation touristique et récréative de ces sites.

RESUME
In 1977, Tunisia created its first national park, followed by six others between 1980 and 1994, with an additional park in process. These spaces, created on an international pattern, nevertheless treasure their very Tunisian character. Kept jealously secluded for several years, the parks were eventually opened to the general public. An ever increasing number of people are now visiting these protected areas in quest of recreational activities rather than aiming at discovering the parks' treasures of natural and cultural heritage. Spoilage of the environment is the ensuing result. Therefore, it is all the more important to comprehend the character of the touristic and recreational frequentation of such fragile sites.
Plans for the equipping and managing, presently in the make, should profit from statistical data and reckon with measures that would set up the tools required for an improved scientific follow-up of the various activities carried out within and around Tunisian national parks.
The example of the Ichkeul National Park offers a complexity that could well serve as basis for the composition of a multidisciplinary team which also encompasses local populations within the touristic and recreational valorization of these sites.

Tunesiens erster Nationalpark entstand 1977. Sechs weitere folgten zwischen 1980 und 1994. Ein achter Nationalpark soll bald seine Tore öffnen. Diese Parks sind zwar nach internationalem Vorbild konzipiert, behalten aber ihren speziellen tunesischen Charakter. In den allerersten Jahren ihrer Entstehung blieben sie noch beinahe überbehütet, wurden anschließend aber für alle Besucher geöffnet, die nun in wachsender Zahl diese geschützten Plätze aufsuchen, jedoch eher um dort Erholung zu finden als um deren natürlichen und kulturellen Reichtum zu entdecken. Aus dieser Haltung resultiert eine Schädigung der Umwelt. Deshalb ist es äußerst wichtig zu wissen aus welchem Grund Besucher zu diesen empfindlichen Landschaften strömen.
Pläne für die Gestaltung und Bewirtschaftung, zur Zeit in der Ausführungsphase begriffen, müssen sich auf statistische Daten stützen können um Vorsichtsmaßnamen treffen zu können für eine bessere wissenschaftliche Nachsorgung der verschiedenen bereits realisierten Betätigungsmöglichkeiten in tunesischen Nationalparks sowie in deren Umfeld.
Der Ichkeul Nationalpark kann mit seiner Vielfältigkeit als Beispiel dienen zur Gründung einer Arbeitsgruppe aus mehreren Fachrichtungen welche ebenfalls die Ortsbewohner in die touristische Valorisierung mit einbezieht.
